We bypass unpaved roads wherever possible, focusing instead on seamless, unforgettable travel.

Day One : 05 March 27 (350 km)

Depart from Gauteng, and ride via Carolina to Oshoek border post. After border formalities, we enter Eswatini and stop at Ngwenya Glass for lunch. After lunch we ride a short distance via their capital, Mbabane, to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, where we have special authorisation to ride our bikes into the Park to our overnight accommodation. Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Eswatini’s pioneer conservation area, being a shining example of what is possible if passion, vision and action fuse. Once a highly profitable multi-purpose farm, and being labeled an “impossible dream”. Mlilwane was proclaimed in 1961 and is now the Kingdom’s most popular eco-destination for locals and internationals alike. The name ‘Mlilwane’ (‘Little Fire’ in siSwati) was derived from the numerous fires caused by lightning strikes on the Mlilwane Hill – it now holds significance as the little fire that ignited the conservation movement I.
Tonight we can share a cold one around the camp fire that has been burning non stop for over 50
years !!!
Accommodation will be at the Beehive village!

Day Two : 06 March 27 (238 km)

Exit the sanctuary and turn onto the newly paved access road which joins the MR3 highway. Close to Manzini we turn south passing through the rolling hills of Nkwene all the way to the town of Nhlangano where we will refuel and stop for lunch. From the town of Nhlangano we use this highly scenic section that cuts through Hlatikulu, offering dramatic mountain vistas, before descending into the flat plains which lie adjacent to the Lebombo mountains – the natural border between Eswatini and Mozambique.

Our destination is KaMsholo Nature Reserve, where we will overnight.

Day Three : 07 March 27 (90 km)

After two fun days in the saddle, we take it easy, and depart from KaMsholo at around 10h00. Only 90 km through the beautiful Lowveld of Eswatini to Hlane Royal National Park.

Hlane Royal National Park was proclaimed as a National Park in 1967, following Mlilwane
Game Sanctuary (1961), under instruction of King Sobhuza ll. “Hlane” is the siSwati name for
‘wilderness’. Hlane is well known for its exquisite tree species lists, which includes impressive ancient
hardwood habitats, as well as big game and rich birdlife. This 22,000 ha park, was once the
region’s rich hunting grounds, and still boasts the largest herds of game in the Kingdom, with
speciality species being rhino, lion, elephant, vultures and marabou stork.
We end the day with a Sunset Game Drive (2,5hr) – stopping to enjoy the sunset in a beautiful
scenic spot. (Not included in the tour price)

Day Four : 08 March 27 (130 km)

Time for an early morning activity, before we depart and take the scenic route through northern
Eswatini past the sugar cane estates to the sugar cane museum.

After our museum visit, we ride to the Mananga Border Post where we cross back into South
Africa.

The highlight today will be our lunch stop at the one and only Carlos for the BEST Portuguese
prawns and chicken in the Lowveld !!
After lunch we travel a short distance before we arrive at Boulders Safari Lodge, jump into the
rock pool and watch the sun set over the wilderness of the untamed Lowveld.

Day Five : 09 March 27 (350 km)

We use the N4 back to Gauteng.
In “Bronkies” (Bronkhorstspruit) we say Adios Amigos and hope to see you on the next
adventure!
