"DRIVE THE WILD" - NAMIBIA    WILDERNIS EXPERIENCE  

DAY ONE - Windhoek

Guests to fly into Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek.  Guests will be transferred to a lodge outside Windhoek to rest and freshen up. The adventure will then start with a lunch at 13H00, followed by the introduction/orientation/driver training process in the afternoon.  Tonight we will have the formal welcoming ceremony and the first of many tradional “braai” dinners.

Guests will sleep over tonight and get ready for early departure.
   

DAY TWO - Erindi Game Reserve

Leaving Windhoek, we will follow the tar road to Okahandja and then slip onto the famous namibian dirt roads and stop at Erindi Game Reserve.

DAY THREE - Halali Camp Etosha

Travel via Outjo and enter Etosha National Park at Anderson gate, stop over for lunch in Okaukeujo – sleep in Halali

DAY SEVEN - Kunene River Lodge

Dirt roads, stop over in Opuwa.  Sleep over at Kunene River Lodge on the banks of ther Kunene River, which is the border between Namibia and Angola

DAY EIGHT - Enyandi

Follow the Kunene River trail – low range 4x4 terrain – sleep on the banks of Kunene river under palm tree canopy.

DAY NINE - Epupa Falls

Follw the Kunene River Trial and stop at Epupa Falls.  We camp at Omarunga Lodge, on the bank of the Kunene River

Dirt road to Okongwati, where we visit a traditional Himba village, then 4x4 track to Otjihende.
